Lisa Ganfield, Founder, OTR/L, CHT, NBCOT, Senior Instructor for John F. Barnes Treatment Centers and Seminars
Lisa has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 1982 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 1991. She has completed all of the John F. Barnes MFR courses, beginning in 1989. Lisa has repeated the courses multiple times and has been a Senior Instructor for the MFR Seminars and Treatment Centers since 2004. She also leads the Chicago Area MFR Study Group.
In addition to her specialty in Myofascial Release and Hand and Upper Extremity injuries, Lisa has taken and treats using John Upledger, D.O. Cranial Sacral I and II, and all four levels of Visceral Manipulation, as well as Neuromanipulation. She has taken Lymphatic Drainage I, Zero Balancing I, and has advanced dialoging skills with Upledger's HCT I and II, and is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.
The staff at Ganfield Therapeutics is highly knowledgable in the Barnes MFR method, Upledger Craniosacral, Visceral Manipulation, Lymphatic Drainage, Trager, and Zero Balancing techniques. In conjunction with traditional PT/OT treatment, she feels, MFR is the missing link to successful outcomes.
Lisa Wheeler, COTA/L, Senior Clinical Therapist
Lisa is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant/Licensed and Kinesiotherapist. She has taken and utilizes all 14 of the Barnes MFR courses, including Women's Health. She has taken and utilizes Manual Lymphatic Drainage I, II, and III. Lisa has completed Chikly Brain I, II and III courses, which assist with the healing and function of deeper brain functions, including concussions, vision issues, spinal cord dysfunction and hormone regulation.
Maryellen Nardomarino, PT
Maryellen graduated from St. Louis University with a BS degree in 1996, Magna Cum Laude and has advanced trainings in Craniosacral therapies, McKenzie Manual therapies, Mulligan Mobilizations with Movement, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neural Tissue Tension therapies and Barnes MFR Facial Pelvis.
Andrea Grant, OTR/L
Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University in 2001 and went on to receive a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2006 from Colorado State University. She has since practiced in a variety of settings including Skilled Nursing, Home Health and school systems. She took her first John Barnes Myofascial Course in 2014 and continues to be amazed by the healing power of the technique. She has taken MFR 1, Fascial Pelvis and Unwinding.
