Serving Richmond, VA since 2021, located in the Scotts Addition area. Working with you we will determine the best path to help you resolve your pain and resume your favorite activities. My goal is to do that in the best way for you so you may reduce (or even eliminate) your medications and potentially avoid medical interventions that include surgery. My background as a physical therapist assistant (licensed since 2007) and my training as a John Barnes Myofascial therapist (Attended my first training in 2013) guide me through the process.
I attended my first John Barnes course in 2013 however had been intent on attending a course since I was first introduced to the techniques when attending physical therapist assistant school in 2006. I've used these techniques within the PT setting, working with neurologically impaired, post surgical, and pelvic floor patients and have found them to be subtle and effective at eliminating pain. I am committed to not only attending courses regularly, but also receiving regular MFR treatment so that I can be the best therapist for you.
