Advanced Training/Teaching: Dr. Sandra Do taught the Fascial Pelvis; with John Barnes Myofascial Release Seminars 1991-2000. Sandra obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from University Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in1989; & her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Fellowship in Manual Therapy from Regis University in 2007, She is also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Myofascial Release has been a cornerstone of her treatment approach since her first year as a physical therapist. She also has extensive postgraduate education in an eclectic manual therapy approach including: the McKenzie approach to spinal mechanical pain and dysfunction, spinal manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy, dry needling, and muscle energy techniques. She attended a six month post graduate Manual Therapy program at Thim van der Laan University in Utrecht, Netherlands. She is passionate about her work and changes that it can make in people’s lives. She continues teaching locally with Myofascial Release Seminars when they come to Colorado. All of the therapists at Manual Therapy Associates are trained in MFR to varying degrees of expertise.
