Leslie Fraser has been practicing massage therapy since 2007. In addition, she is a Level 2 UMA Reiki practitioner, does cupping, uses tuning forks and is a Certified Kineso-Taping Tech. In the past she was known primarily for deep tissue work, and sports massage. However, when Leslie began taking John F. Barnes' courses in 2015, she realized the genuine healing that comes from this work and has never looked back. John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release in the gold standard in healing modalities!
Ms Fraser has completed the following coursework: Myofascial Release 1 & 2, Healing Seminar, Cervical-Thoracic (2x), Rebounding, Unwinding, Fascial-Pelvis (2x) , Advanced Unwinding, Quantum Leap, Women's Health, and she completed her Skill Enhancement Seminar in February 2017. Leslie has also completed a week long "Therapy for the Therapist" in early 2018. She also performs regular self-care and attends study groups to hone her skills and stay within what John F. Barnes calls our "Channel 3." Leslie also completed "Mermaid Fascial Freedom" with Emily Ann Estes in Maine in October of 2016; an aquatic program using the JFB MFR healing modality.
Up next: Leslie has enrolled in the newly developed course that John F. Barnes is offering for the first time this July, "Fascial Cranium", as well as two more repeats in 2018, as repeating classes brings new depth to the work every time one repeats a class. It also is wonderful to spend time with other MFR therapists! In the fall of 2018, she hopes to enroll in MFR 3.
Ms. Fraser is amazed with the results that her clients have had since introducing MFR to her practice in 2015, and looks forward to being the facilitator for your healing process. "MFR changed my life, and I am thrilled to be on this journey of healing, from past traumas to my body and mind, and helping my clients to live a pain free life."
Leslie is a single mom to a terrific, active 11 year old boy, who enjoys his personalized MFR treatments at home whenever he wants. When not treating clients, she enjoys travel, entertaining, cooking, sailing, camping, snowshoeing, woodsy hikes with her rescue pup Maxi, skiing, pond swimming from early Spring into Fall, creating furniture out of pallets, photography and doing pottery in her ceramic studio. Leslie studied in France for two years after high school. She grew up on the coast of Maine, and has lived in California, Idaho, and New Hampshire, but now calls Massachusetts home.
Leslie has a home based office, that offers serenity and privacy for her loyal clients.
