Judy is a graduate of Fisher College in Boston, from the Physical Therapy Assistant program in 1997. She is board certified in MA and AZ. For over a decade, Judy specialized in orthopedic rehab in both in patient and outpatient settings. In 2003, she was responsible for creating and implementing a hospital physical therapy program using a whole body treatment approach. Here she developed and taught a Pilates core based adjunct treatment plan, focusing on stress reduction, breath and looking at the whole body, not just the injured part. Inspired by her patient’s success in the program, Judy opened the Pilates and Myofascial Release Studio in 2004.
Judy’s Myofascial Release journey began in 2009, with John Barnes. Although, she worked closely throughout her career with other myofascial release therapist’s, her natural curiosity about the pain body vs. myofascial release was realized in depth, after she was in a car accident in 2005. Unable to resolve her own chronic back pain with traditional therapies, she was treated first with myofascial release, and then continued her Pilates core training for optimal results. Only then, was she able to restore full function in her body and return to pain free living. With much passion, intuition and love, Judy is committed to guiding you on a path to authentic healing.
