During a career in Early Childhood Education, Jessica took an interest in Massage Therapy and pursued her degree at Spa- tech Institute, Ipswich in 2005. She has always had a passion for learning and growing. Part time Massage Therapy positions lead to full time positions and 3 years after graduating she was the Massage Therapist for the Pain and Wellness Center working directly with physicians, physical therapists, and other Holistic Practitioners. Together as a team they helped chronic pain patients find their way to less discomfort. Jessica realized that she needed to seek out other methods outside of traditional Massage Therapy to assist her clients in achieving their goals. She completed basic and advanced Hypnotherapy training, which allows her to integrate breathing and relaxation techniques into her session. In 2010, she followed a growing urge, left the Pain and Wellness Center and opened Balanced Healing. She then went on to study Myofascial Release with the one of leading experts on fascia, John F. Barnes, PT. Her first seminar was eye- opening and trans formative. It is the missing link in health care. While integrating the work into her sessions, she found how quickly her clients responded to Myofascial Release. Jessica continued to learn and grow. She noticed in a difference in herself and her clients were feeling a difference in their sessions. Then in April 2013 after an internship at the Myofascial Release Treatment Center, she knew that treating clients using only Myofascial Release was the next path. And so the door to offering Massage Therapy session closed and the world of Myofascial Release opened. She is now recognized as an Expert Myofascial Release Therapist.
