Dr. Charmaine Quijano, PT, DPT has over 20 years of clinical experience in various settings which include inpatient and outpatient orthopedic, neurological and burn rehabilitation. Since 2004, Dr. Quijano has served as an Adjunct Professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program of Long Island University.
For the last 12 years, Dr. Quijano has been specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction and myofascial pain. She has completed a variety of continuing education courses from John Barnes, Upledger Institute, Herman and Wallace Institute, Jones Institute, Polestar Institute, Institute of Physical Art and more recently, the Arvigo Institute which enables her to take a holistic and integrated treatment approach to efficiently treat not only her client's symptoms but also address its cause. Dr. Quijano encourages her clients to be an "active participant" in their healing process and is committed in assisting them to take back control, to restore balance and regain their overall "art of health"!
