Clinic founder and lead therapist, Lydia Radosevich, specializes in Myofascial Release, having studied extensively with John Barnes, known as 'the father' of MFR. In 1981, she graduated with honors from Indiana University. She worked for nearly a dozen years in progressive geriatric rehabilitation in Chicago, then joined the Peace Corps and volunteered for two years in Costa Rica. Upon returning to the U.S., she worked with a traveling agency for therapists and nurses, which eventually took her to Roswell, NM, on a contract job. It was during this time that Lydia discovered the alpine village of Ruidoso and decided to open her own business here, a practice she has successfully built over two decades and which continues to thrive with both locals and visitors alike. "The Healing Place," indeed!
Soon after completing a year in massage therapy training at The Georgia Medical Institute in Morrow, Georgia in 2001, I moved to Ruidoso, attained NM license, Nationally Certification and since proved massage therapy in the Ruidoso for 18 years.
I soon began training with John Barnes Myofascial Release seminars upon receiving Myofascial Release several times from Lydia RadosevichPT and Zeke Morales PT, both at Ruidoso Physical Therapy Center in Ruidoso, N.M.This type of therapy has made a very marked difference in my own healing and recovery as well as the results I have found for clients.
Although also trained and certified in other healing modalities such as: Healing Touch, Qi Gong and Thai Massage I have noticed the techniques of John Barnes accomplishes deep muscular and fascial releases even from injuries occurring years previously.
