In 2010, Sara started her training in John F Barnes Myofascial Release (JFB MFR). Since then, she has taken over 350 hours of continuing education in MFR including a 40 hour skill enhancement working side by side with John Barnes and his handpicked talented staff. Sara has also had the extreme honor of working as a relief therapist at Therapy on the Rocks.
This education has changed the way she practices Physical Therapy by focusing on finding the root cause of her patients' problems, rather than treating only their symptoms. This has resulted in permanent structural changes rather than temporary results. She feels that MFR is the therapy of the future.
Roots Myofascial Release was established with a vision to create an environment for authentic physical and emotional healing, restoration of function, ease of motion and promotion of well being by releasing areas of restriction in the body. Sara's mission is to help people achieve and maintain their optimal level of physical and mental health.
